HOW TO START AN ASSOCIATION
If you're looking to start an association for your area this is how to begin. 

Continuing Education
Groomers can continue their education in many different ways, such as taking classes online or at an in-person show. At WAGA, we encourage all groomers, in or out of their local organization, to continue their education in any way possible. In-person trade show information can be found on our events page. Lists of current nationally recognized voluntary certification programs can be found here. Online continuing education classes can be found here.

PPGSA Standards of Care, Safety and Sanitation
The Professional Pet Groomers and Stylists Alliance is a historic collaboration of grooming and styling professionals. It is an effort by groomers for groomers, pet owners, and the pets themselves. Contributing members of the Alliance include the major national dog and cat grooming and styling associations, several American and Canadian groomer groups, a nationally accredited grooming school, allied trade organizations, and major retailers who offer pet grooming and service providers.
